KUALA LUMPUR – The Ministry of Education (MOE) has officially announced that the results for the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination will be released on March 31, 2026.
A total of 413,299 candidates registered for the national examination, which was conducted across 3,350 examination centers nationwide.
Accessing Results
According to a statement released by the ministry on Monday, school candidates can obtain their official result slips from their respective schools starting at 10:00 AM on the day of the announcement.
For private candidates, the MOE advised them to contact the State Education Department (JPN) where they initially registered to receive their results.
Digital and SMS Checking Methods
To facilitate the process and reduce congestion at schools, the ministry has provided two digital platforms for candidates to check their summaries:
- Online Portal: Candidates can visit myresultspm.moe.gov.my to view their results. The portal will be active from 10:00 AM on March 31 until 6:00 PM on April 6, 2026.
- SMS Service: A mobile check can be performed by typing SPM [Space] IC Number [Space] Index Number and sending it to 15888. This service will operate within the same timeframe as the online portal.
Ensuring Smooth Distribution
The MOE has directed all school administrations to ensure that the physical distribution of result slips is managed efficiently and in an organized manner.
“The ministry is committed to ensuring that every candidate receives their results through a seamless process, whether they choose to do so in person or via digital platforms,” the statement read.
The release of the SPM results is a significant milestone for Malaysian students, as it determines their eligibility for tertiary education, scholarships, and various pre-university programs.
