Samsung Set to Launch Galaxy Z TriFold on December 5

El Sky News – Samsung is preparing to unveil its latest innovation in foldable technology — the Galaxy Z TriFold, expected to launch globally on December 5, 2025, according to industry sources reported by 9to5Google.

Leaked information reveals that the device will feature a 6.5-inch external display and an approximately 10-inch internal screen when fully unfolded. The smartphone is also rumored to include a 5,600 mAh battery, marking one of the largest capacities ever placed in a foldable device.

Sources close to the company suggest that the Galaxy Z TriFold will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and support S Pen functionality, aligning it more closely with Samsung’s tablet experience. The expected price is around 4.4 million Korean won (roughly USD 3,000).

If confirmed, this would make the Z TriFold Samsung’s most expensive smartphone to date, surpassing the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The company is reportedly targeting professionals and early adopters looking for a device that blends tablet-level multitasking with smartphone portability.

Analysts say Samsung’s goal is to maintain dominance in the foldable market amid growing competition from Chinese brands like Huawei and Honor, both of which have been pushing multi-fold prototypes in 2025.

While Samsung has not officially commented on the leaks, insiders suggest the announcement could take place during a special Unpacked event in early December.

If the Z TriFold performs as expected, it could mark a turning point for the foldable segment — proving that three-panel devices can be practical rather than just a flashy concept.
