Korean Fast-Food Chain Lotteria to Open First Branch in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, El Sky News – South Korean fast-food chain Lotteria is set to open its first branch in Malaysia in December 2025. The inaugural outlet will be located at The Curve Shopping Mall, Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

Lotteria is a well-known Korean fast-food brand that has expanded to over 20 countries, including the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore. The chain is famous for its Zinger Burger, Bulgogi Burger, Chicken Popcorn, Korean-style fries, and a variety of unique beverages and desserts.

The opening of the Malaysian branch is expected to attract fans of Korean cuisine and fast food in the Klang Valley. The restaurant promises a modern and cozy dining experience, offering dine-in, takeaway, and delivery through digital platforms.

A Lotteria Malaysia project manager stated:

“We are excited to bring authentic Korean flavors to Malaysia. Opening our first branch at The Curve is a key step to introduce our signature menu and unique offerings to local customers.”

Additionally, the outlet plans to launch special opening promotions, including discounts on selected menu items and gifts for early customers. Lotteria aims to expand culinary choices in Malaysia, especially for younger consumers who are increasingly drawn to Korean cuisine.

The launch reflects the growing popularity of Korean food culture in Malaysia, in line with the influence of K-pop, K-drama, and Korean lifestyle trends among local communities.

Visitors to The Curve can expect to experience classic and innovative Lotteria dishes starting December 2025, making it one of the newest culinary destinations in the city.
