The stall has gone viral on social media, especially among young Malaysians who are eager to try authentic flavors from Indonesia. With toppings like kerupuk, sausages, chicken feet, meatballs, and eggs, the rich orange broth is said to offer a “real Bandung-style punch”.

Stall Information

Seblak Asli Indonesia operates from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, except on Mondays, when the stall is closed. Each serving is priced at around RM15, depending on the selected toppings. Its strategic location near business areas and student housing makes it easily accessible.

Public Response

Since its opening, countless videos and reviews have flooded social media platforms. Many first-time customers expressed surprise at the intense spiciness but admitted they couldn’t stop eating it.

One customer said:

“That spiciness is no joke but I’m coming back tomorrow!”

The stall owner is originally from Bandung, ensuring the recipe remains authentic and true to Indonesian flavor. Some Indonesian residents in Malaysia even called it a “taste of home”.

Rising Trend of Indonesian Cuisine in Malaysia

Seblak is now joining other popular Indonesian foods such as bakso, pecel lele, and ayam penyet as part of Malaysia’s growing street food trend. Food experts predict that Indonesian cuisine will continue to gain popularity in Malaysia over the next 1–2 years, especially through affordable street vendors and pop-up stalls. With strong public interest and viral online exposure, Seblak is on track to become one of the next major street food trends in Malaysia. If momentum continues, more branches may appear across Kuala Lumpur and even Johor Bahru in the near future
