Kuala Lumpur, El Sky News — BYD and DENZA have officially opened the Light The Change Festival, an immersive sustainability-themed exhibition held at The Waterfront, Desa ParkCity. Running from 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, the festival carries the mission “Cool The Earth By 1°C”, highlighting the urgent need for climate awareness and environmental responsibility.
Themed “One Degree. One Future.”, the event transforms The Waterfront into a futuristic, eco-inspired experience designed to inspire hope, innovation, and collective action. Visitors are invited to explore multiple interactive zones, each offering educational activities, art showcases, and hands-on environmental experiences.
Key attractions include:
- Greenfield Zones, featuring sustainability activities, climate awareness stations, and electric mobility education.
- Nature Is Watching You, an interactive installation showcasing the connection between people and the environment.
- Power the Tree of Life, a kinetic display encouraging visitors to generate energy together.
- Eco-inspired Giveaways and BYD seeds distribution.
- Test Drive Experiences for the latest BYD and DENZA electric vehicle lineup.
A highlight of the festival is the Magical Golden Hour Show, happening every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8 PM and 9 PM. Each week features a different themed performance ranging from LED butterfly dances to bubble shows, laser art, and more. A daily light show is also scheduled at 8.30 PM and 10.30 PM.
To enhance the visitor experience, organizers recommend bringing essentials such as comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket, and umbrellas, as well as inviting friends and loved ones to enjoy the atmosphere together.
The Light The Change Festival is a collaborative effort between BYD, DENZA, and The Waterfront, Desa ParkCity, designed to merge technology, creativity, and environmental advocacy into a memorable holiday-season attraction.
