KUALA LUMPUR, El Sky News – The Election Commission (EC) of Malaysia has officially opened the Supplementary Electoral Roll for December 2025 (DPT BLN12/2025) for a 30-day public review period, effective from Wednesday (Jan 28) until February 26.
EC Secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus confirmed that the newly gazetted roll includes 44,042 citizens aged 18 and above who were automatically registered as voters between December 1 and December 31, 2025.
Comprehensive Voter Data Updates Beyond new registrations, the latest roll also records significant administrative changes for existing voters. According to the EC, the list contains 16,699 registered voters who have applied for a change in their voting constituencies, along with 4,872 individuals who updated their voting categories or status.
“The EC urges all citizens aged 18 and above within the specified period, as well as registered voters who have requested changes in their constituency or status, to verify their details in the DPT BLN12/2025,” Khairul Shahril stated in a press release on Wednesday.
Digital and Physical Access for Verification To facilitate the review process, the commission has provided multiple accessible platforms:
- Official Portals: Available at https://www.spr.gov.my or https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my.
- Mobile Application: Through the MySPR Semak app.
- State Level Portals: Accessible via individual State Election Office websites at http://ppn.spr.gov.my.

Procedures for Claims and Objections The EC further clarified that individuals who find their names missing from the list despite eligibility can file a claim using Form C. Conversely, any registered voter wishing to object to the inclusion of a name in a particular constituency may do so by submitting Form D.
This exercise is part of the EC’s ongoing commitment to ensuring an accurate and updated electoral database, following the implementation of automatic voter registration in the country.
