Kuala Lumpur, El Sky News – 18–20 November 2025, CoffeeBot Malaysia made a strong appearance at Smart Nation Expo 2025, a major regional technology exhibition held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The event, which ran for three days, brought together hundreds of exhibitors and tens of thousands of industry professionals focusing on digitalisation, smart cities, AI innovation, IoT solutions, and next-generation mobility.
The expo’s theme, “Driving Digitalisation Towards a Smart Economy,” emphasized Malaysia’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation. Running alongside Smart Nation Expo were two additional major showcases: EVM Asia, highlighting electric mobility solutions, and Data Centre Asia Malaysia, focusing on infrastructure supporting cloud, edge computing, and AI.
CoffeeBot Highlights at the Event
Throughout the exhibition, CoffeeBot drew steady attention with its latest line of coffee vending machines, offering visitors a hands-on experience with their technology and beverage options, including coffee, tea, and soda selections.

In an interview at the booth, CoffeeBot’s representative shared the company’s background and operations:
“Actually, CoffeeBot Malaysia has been founded since 2017. It’s been eight years in the market. So, what we normally do is coffee vending machines. So we run the machines, we operate it, we do the cleaning, the service maintenance.”
Unlike traditional vending suppliers, CoffeeBot does not sell its machines:
“So our business model is not by selling the machines. So we own all these machines as our asset, we lease them out instead. So we will include the service maintainers, the regular ones in our package. So our service includes not just the machine itself, but also the materials inside and also the full service. If any machine breakdown errors, that goes back to CoffeeBot.”
Maintenance responsibilities are fully managed by CoffeeBot:
“That would be CoffeeBot. So if any machine breaks down, as mentioned, that will be under CoffeeBot’s technician team and operations team’s responsibility. So we’ll take accountability for anything that goes wrong with the machines and even things like you’re not happy with the taste… then you can actually request for a refund.”
On its latest machine model and expansion plans, the representative added:

“This is currently our latest model in Malaysia and currently we are launching as many as we can throughout the whole nations, not just from the central, we are also talking about the southern part, Singapore, northern and even eastern side of Malaysia.”
