KLANG, El Sky News – Minister of Communications Datuk Fahmi Fadzil was conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Selangor (D.P.M.S.), which carries the title “Dato’,” in conjunction with the 80th birthday of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, today.
🌟 Royal Ceremony and Recipients
The prestigious ceremony, where the Minister received the state honour, took place at the Balairung Seri (Throne Room) of Istana Alam Shah.
- Total Recipients: Fahmi Fadzil was among 98 individuals who received various Darjah and Bintang Kebesaran (Orders and Decorations) from the Sultan.
- Other Honourees: Also receiving the same honour, the D.P.M.S., was Selangor Executive Councillor for Rural Development, Unity, and Consumer Affairs, Datuk Rizam Ismail. The D.P.M.S. bestows the title “Dato'” upon male recipients and “Datin Paduka” upon female recipients.
The royal family, including the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, and the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, were present to witness the conferment ceremony.
Earlier, the Sultan’s daughter, Tengku Zerafina, led the list of recipients of the Selangor Orders and Decorations for His Royal Highness’s 80th birthday celebrations.
