KUALA LUMPUR – Popular Malaysian actress Uqasha Senrose has sparked conversation on social media following a cryptic clarification regarding the visitation schedule of her daughter, Hawra Uqaira, amid the toddler’s recent health struggles.
The “Two-Week” Clarification
The controversy began after Uqasha’s former husband, actor Kamal Adli, expressed his gratitude on social media for being able to reunite with Hawra after a 14-day hiatus. In what appeared to be a direct response to public perception, Uqasha posted a brief but firm statement on her Instagram Story: “It’s not that I didn’t allow [the visit] for two weeks.” While she did not elaborate further on the reasons behind the gap in visitation, her statement suggests that the timeline was not a result of her withholding access to their daughter.
Health Concerns for Hawra Uqaira
Beyond the co-parenting updates, Uqasha shared distressing news regarding Hawra’s current physical condition. The young girl is currently battling a bout of chicken pox, which has caused significant discomfort. In a series of video updates, Uqasha showed Hawra struggling with itchy skin and disrupted sleep.”The poor little one has chicken pox. She is very itchy and keeps waking up because she’s uncomfortable… she keeps scratching,” Uqasha shared with her followers.
Commitment to Co-Parenting
Despite their recent divorce, Kamal Adli has remained vocal about his commitment to his role as a father. On Thursday, he expressed that even short meetings are deeply meaningful to him. He thanked Uqasha for the opportunity to spend time with Hawra, vowing to remain a constant presence in his daughter’s life to ensure their bond remains strong despite the family’s new dynamics.
