Kuala Lumpur, El Sky News – BMW Millennium Welt showcased its commitment to increasing public understanding of battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) during the Smart Nation Expo 2025, held from 18 to 20 November at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The booth drew steady interest from professional and adult visitors who were exploring Malaysia’s expanding electric mobility landscape.
Two key models — the BMW iX xDrive60 and the BMW i4 — were the centerpiece of the booth, representing the brand’s commitment to fully electric performance and sustainability. BMW’s participation focused on educating visitors about the advantages of transitioning from petrol-powered vehicles to electric ones.
When asked about the main concept of their presence at the event, a representative said,
“Main concept of this event actually is BEV (battery electric vehicle), which is this event focuses on electric vehicles because we have iX60 and also i4.”
The representative also explained BMW’s approach to promoting eco-friendly driving, stating,
“We offer electric vehicles for safer ecosystem and saving petrol.”
To support the shift to EVs, BMW introduced exclusive incentives specifically for visitors attending the expo. Discussing the promotions, the representative noted,
“Yes, we do have promotion — a very exclusive promotion especially for customers for this event.”
These offers are targeted particularly at customers placing early orders. The representative added,
“Specifically for pre-ordering the electric vehicle.”
BMW also highlighted its flagship models available for preorder, mentioning:
“7 Series, 5 Series, 3 Series.”
According to the representative, visitor engagement throughout the event was highly encouraging. They shared,
“Customers are very proactive. They are concerned about this vehicle, especially electric vehicles, because it’s becoming a trend to change from petrol into electric.”
