Sources close to the group revealed that Edry, known as the backbone of KRU in production and composition, reportedly collapsed shortly after the concert ended. The incident, attributed to extreme fatigue and work pressure, shocked fans and colleagues alike. Thankfully, Edry has since stabilized and is currently resting.
A Father’s Unfulfilled Wish
The incident takes on a more poignant note in light of the condition of their father, the late Datuk Abdul Halim bin Embong.
Edry’s father was reportedly in critical condition in hospital and was unable to witness his sons—Norman, Yusry, and Edry—perform together for the final time on stage. Despite his strong desire to attend, his health did not permit it, and he passed away shortly thereafter.
