SEOUL, El Sky News — Yoon Bomi, member of the K-pop group Apink, is set to marry music producer Rado of the duo Black Eyed Pilseung in May next year, following a nine-year relationship.
According to a source from the broadcasting industry on Thursday (December 18), the couple — Rado (real name Song Juyoung, 41) and Yoon Bomi (32) — have finalized their wedding date and have begun notifying close friends and family.
Letter to Fans
On the same day, Yoon Bomi shared a handwritten letter via Apink’s official fancafe, expressing her thoughts to fans. She acknowledged that the news of her marriage might surprise or disappoint fans, especially as they eagerly await her first solo album in three years.
In the letter, Bomi also expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of her fans over 15 years, noting that their encouragement has been essential throughout her career.
From Colleagues to Couple
The pair first met in 2017 while working on a music project. Their professional collaboration eventually developed into a romantic relationship, which they publicly confirmed in April last year.
Coinciding with Apink’s 15th Anniversary
The announcement comes ahead of Apink’s 15th anniversary, alongside the upcoming release of their 11th mini-album, “RE : LOVE”, scheduled for January 5 at 6 p.m. The album features messages of love and appreciation from the members to their team and loyal fans.Yoon Bomi is expected to focus on group activities and preparations for upcoming fan meetings while balancing her personal milestones.
