KUALA LUMPUR – Renowned Malaysian content creator and entrepreneur Khairul Aming has been forced to take temporary medical leave after suffering from severe dehydration and physical exhaustion following a massive event at his restaurant, Rembayung.
The health scare occurred after a highly successful pop-up event where the “Sambal Nyet” founder personally served an estimated 7,000 customers. The overwhelming response to the Nasi Lemak and Nasi Minyak sale at Rembayung saw fans lining up for hours, prompting the influencer to work non-stop under intense conditions to meet the demand.
Taking to social media to update his followers, Khairul Aming revealed that the combination of the large crowd and the grueling pace took a significant toll on his body. After seeking medical consultation, he was officially diagnosed with dehydration.
“The doctor has instructed me to rest and focus on recovery for the time being,” he stated, explaining his brief absence from his usual digital routine. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the immense support shown at Rembayung while acknowledging the necessity of prioritizing his health.
The event further solidifies Khairul Aming’s influence in the local culinary scene, with Rembayung becoming a focal point for his latest gastronomic ventures. While fans are eager for his return, the entrepreneur is currently focusing on a full recovery before resuming his duties at the restaurant and on social media. (Kayla Shabirah)
