SHAH ALAM, El Sky News – Nubhan, a prominent contender in this season’s Gegar Vaganza 12 (GV12), has responded calmly to social media commentary urging his elimination from the program, asserting his unwavering commitment to his musical performance.
The singer made it clear that his participation is strictly dedicated to his craft, dismissing the relevance of personal controversies.
“My purpose here on this stage is to sing, not to engage in other personal narratives. The industry naturally has its supporters and detractors. I choose not to overly concern myself with these matters and will instead prioritize delivering my best effort for the show,” Nubhan declared following the conclusion of the GV12 Week 6 concert.
He acknowledged being aware of the critical online feedback but stressed that he actively prevents such negativity from undermining his concentration. “I am well aware of the adverse comments, but taking deeper notice of them is not something I choose to do. I must navigate this and simply perform to the best of my capabilities,” he elaborated.
Inspiration from Home
Nubhan shared that his biggest motivational force throughout the demanding competition is his family, particularly his children. He highlighted how their excitement has become his source of strength.
“When you witness the enthusiasm of your children, you know they are placing their hopes in you. I often bring them along during my practice sessions, and they even start dancing. This illustrates their enjoyment and excitement. They are focused entirely on me,” he explained, noting that their dedication makes him even more determined.
A Pragmatic Future
Looking ahead, Nubhan adopted a realistic view of his ongoing participation, accepting whatever the outcome may be.
“If fortune favors me to advance to the subsequent round, I shall continue. However, should my luck run out, I will simply return home and focus on preparing sambal,” he concluded, referencing his business endeavor as a fallback plan.
