The advisory serves as a preemptive measure to ensure that Malaysians are not inadvertently caught in escalating situations or legal complications.
The Embassy has outlined several critical protocols that all Malaysians must strictly adhere to while the current situation persists:
- Avoidance of High-Risk Zones: All citizens are strongly advised to steer clear of areas known for public gatherings, protest sites, and any locations characterized by a heavy concentration of military or police personnel.
- Mandatory Identification: It is now mandatory for Malaysians to carry original and valid identification documents at all times.
